Unfortunately, Kodak Black will be spending a little bit more time behind bars.
On Monday, Kodak Black, born Dieuson Octave, pled no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges, and was sentenced to 120 days in jail in St. Lucie County, Florida. Luckily, Kodak wont have to serve the entire four month sentence, he will be credited for time he has served so far.
In addition to jail time, Kodak’s license will be suspended for one year. He will also have to pay $298 in court fees. The 19 year old “Skrt” rapper is expected to be released from jail on November 30, however, he is still facing criminal sexual misconduct charges in South Carolina. There is a chance that those charges can affect his release date.
Major Michael M. Nunn, a spokesman for the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, stated the following, “According to investigators, on or about February 7, 2016, Octave is alleged to have engaged in the sexual battery of the victim at a hotel located at 2120 West Lucas Street, Florence, South Carolina.”
