Kodak Black will not be released from jail.

Yesterday, it was reported that Kodak Black would be released from jail, however, those plans have come to a halt. Joy Oglesby, a representative from the Broward Sheriff’s office, has confirmed that two active arrest warrants were discovered during the process of releasing Kodak from Broward main jail in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

The warrants were issued in St. Lucie County, Florida, and Florence, South Carolina. Oglesby stated, “One of them is a no-bond hold. At this point he’s still going to be in jail. He’s not going to be released.” A no-bond hold means that Kodak cannot be released out of jail by simply paying a bond, he will have to wait until a bail amount is set by the judge assigned to his case.

On Monday, Judge Lisa Porter accepted Kodak’s plea deal, and the rapper was sentenced to one year of house arrest and five years of probation.
