Our favorite rapstress, Nicki Minaj has come quite a long way over the past few years. We have watched this talented, determined woman who first began spitting her rhymes in the streets of New York, grown into a multi-platinum star. There’s rarely a day that goes by without us seeing her on television, or hearing her music on the radio.
Before fame, Nicki Minaj, real name Onika Maraj was once a vibrate student who believed in chasing her dreams. Maraj attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts and Performing Arts. She studied her passion, which was theater. Clearly, we can see in the video below how Nicki really gets into her character as she does today.
Other alumni who have attended the same high school include Wesley Snipes and Vanessa A. Williams. Wow! Who knew?
