Jhene Aiko has officially filed for divorce.
After eleven months of marriage, Jhene Aiko has filed for divorce from Dot Da Genius. Aiko has asked the judge to deny Dot spousal support, and cited irreconcilable differences – meaning Dot nor Aiko are to blame for the divorce, but simply the marriage can’t be saved at this point. Over the past few months, Aiko has been spotted out and about with Big Sean, leading many to believe that they are dating.
For awhile, it was unclear if Aiko was really married. However, back in March, Dot confirmed their marriage via Instagram with a photo of the two sporting their wedding bands. He later posted a photo of Aiko, wishing her a happy birthday writing, “Happy Birthday to my gorgeous wife. Happy to be on this quest w/ you!!!”
In April, Aiko and Big Sean released a joint album titled, Twenty88. Most recently, the two shared a kiss onstage at a show in Anaheim.
