Pop-up shops are becoming more and more common nowadays, with everyone from Drake, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber launching their own. Well, it appears that Future is looking to join in on the fun and is opening his own “Future Hive” pop-up shop in New York City as early as next week.

The “EVOL” rapper has joined forces with social shopping site, Fancy, to create the shop, which will feature apparel from Future’s Freebandz collection, as well as other top selling brands like Pintrill, Cease and Desist and Moreca. Future also collaborated with John Varatos on a leather motorcycle jacket customized by Adam Bohemond, which will be sold for a pricey $2,498.

Marcus Howard, head of business at Fancy, released the following statement, “What we wanted to do is create an experience for the fans. We’ve seen what everyone has done with the standard pop-up and they are essentially glorified merchandise stands. We want people to come in and feel like it’s Future’s space and offer a high-quality retail experience.”

“It really boils down to, fans want to feel what the emotion of their favorite artist is and we don’t want people to go in and buy the T-shirt and go out. We want them to spend time here and tell their friends about it. You are discovering things about Future that you might not get from a merchandise stand.”

Future Hive will be located at 76 Wooster Street, New York, NY 10012, and will be open from August 2-8.
