In less than two weeks, Travis Scott will drop his second studio album, “Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight”.

After months of anticipation, Scott announced the official release date on Tuesday during a concert at the Ford Amphitheatre in Coney Island. While onstage, Scott stated, “I want everybody to lock in a date right now in their brains. August 5th. Birds in the Trap coming soon!” Following the announcement, Scott teased a new track that is sure to be on the album. Scott recently announced that he is working on a short film that will accompany the album.

Back In June, La Flame opened up about the film, stating, “The thing with [Mc]Knight is just, you know, some play shit. You know I’m always into film and I’m doing a short film with this album. I’m putting that out with the album. That’s also what’s taking it so long. I just shot it and sh*t. And it’s like a long, lengthy film. It’s all the sh*t that I’ve been doing. All this innovative shit I just wanna do. And there’s even more sh*t that I’m not gonna speak on now to be impactful.”

The album will be released through Apple Music, and will feature the lead single “Pick Up The Phone” with Young Thug and Quavo.

Scott is also working on a project titled “ASTROWORLD”.
