Lil Wayne got into a bit of trouble after the BET Awards on Sunday. The rapper was hosting a BET afterparty at Los Angeles’ Hyde nightclub with 2 Chainz when he reportedly punched a bouncer. The bouncer filed a battery report with the LAPD, and was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
Things got heated after members of Wayne’s entourage were denied entry to his event. That’s when Wayne allegedly reached out and punched the bouncer in the face. Police are investigating the incident and want to speak with Wayne. According to Weezy’s camp, there was a brief altercation after the bouncer grabbed his arm, but claim Wayne never punched him.
Although the bouncers injuries were considered minor, Wayne could still a face misdemeanor battery charge.
