On Monday, Lil Wayne had to be hospitalized after suffering two seizures on his private jet.
Thankfully, Wayne suffered no permanent damage, and was released from the hospital yesterday. He even hopped onto Twitter to thank his fans for their support tweeting, “thanx for all the prayers!! I love y’all.” His rep confirmed that he was doing much better and was in good spirits. It remains unclear as to what triggered Weezy’s seizures, but the rapper has a history of epileptic episodes.
The night before Weezy’s health scare, he allegedly drunk three bottles of codeine during a nightclub appearance in Milwaukee. Sources revealed that he was seen carrying around an additional two bottles. In the past, Wayne has publicly stated that he eased up on his lean consumption due to health issues, but it appears as though that might not be the case anymore.
This is the second time in four years that Wayne has suffered from seizures.
