Lil Wayne is reportedly on the road to recovery after running into a health scare.
Yesterday, the rapper’s private jet had to make an emergency landing after he suffered two seizures during his flight from Milwaukee to California. After the first seizure, Weezy declined medical treatment. His jet then refueled and headed back into the air. Moments later, Wayne suffered another seizure causing the pilot to land in Omaha, Nebraska for the second time. He was then transported to Creighton University Medical Center by ambulance.
Wayne’s rep released the following statement to The Fader via email, “We can confirm that he did experience a minor seizure earlier this afternoon. Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in stable condition and good spirits. He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers, and well wishes.” Wayne has yet to speak out.
Years ago, Weezy revealed that he has been suffering from epileptic seizures since he was a young child. However, many of us can’t help but wonder if Weezy’s lean addiction has played a role in his health setbacks. Either way, it’s good to know that Weezy is doing well.
