Love and Hip Hop Atlanta reality star and Grammy winning producer Steven “Stevie J” Jordan has been ordered to check into a 30 day inpatient drug rehab program after failing ten drug tests for cocaine and marijuana. According to Manhattan prosecutors, the reality star is currently out on bail for a child support case. The tests were required by his $25,000 bond agreement.
Jordan was arrested in Atlanta back in June for failing to pay $1.1 million dollars in court ordered child support payments. Jordan owes child support for two children, a 17 year old boy, and a 15 year old girl who both live with their mother in Pennsylvania.
Even after his arrest, Jordan continues to deny allegations of failing to pay over $1 million dollars in child support. Jordan earns $27,000 a month. His attorney, Michael Bellinger argues that rehab would keep his client from working and repaying debts.
In court, Bellinger stated “ If he’s inpatient he can’t support his family.”
