Ya’ll better leave Lauryn alone. Last night, the 40 year old singer was scheduled to perform at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta for the 2016 Delta Live Nation Concert series, but pissed off a slew of fans in the process. Hill was set to hit the stage at 8:00 p.m., however, eased her way onto the stage around 10:20. Ms. Hill was only able to perform a few songs due to the venue’s strict noise curfew of 11:00 p.m. Hill later told a fan, “My driver got lost, I can’t control that.”
Unfortunately for Hill, her fans weren’t buying her excuse and took to Instagram and Twitter to drag her immediately. Fans wrote everything from “Lauryn Hill just came out up nearly 2 and a half hours late to boos. Yikes!”, “They’re playing more Lauryn Hill at the restaurant I’m at than I bet y’all heard at that concert”, “Lauryn Hill is in the middle of the longest sophomore slump ever”, and “I saw Lauryn Hill trending and thought she died. But she was just late to her concert to no ones surprise”.
