In less than two weeks, it will be a year since Chinx was tragically killed. To this day, the NYPD hasn’t come across any leads that have brought them closer to solving Chinx’s case, or even making an arrest. Chinx was heading towards the prime of his career before his untimely death, and he definitely deserves justice.

Like much of Chinx’s family and friends, French Montana is angry and disappointed with the NYPD’s efforts. The “All The Way Up” rapper recently sat down for an interview with Funk Flex, and dished on Chinx’s death stating, “Imagine dealing with somebody that’s really your brother then your brother gets killed and you don’t know who killed your brother. And even the police can’t find that out. How do you feel safe? How do you know they’re not coming for you next?”

He continued, “As far as New York, it’s funny cause those kind of people supposed to be doing their job. I’m very disappointed cause guess what, they put me in great danger… At the end of the day I just feel like justice should start doing justice.”

Back in April, the NYPD stated that they believed Chinx was an intended target. Lieutenant Richard Rudolph stated, “I wouldn’t call it a set up, but was he a target? Yes…So, we believe our shooter walked up and fired into that car. He [Chinx] was not involved, as far as we know, with any type of serious drugs. But he was about to make it big. He was going to make money. Nobody, who knows anything about this murder specifically, is cooperating with the police at this time.”
