Well, this is exciting! Yesterday, Big Sean and Jhene AIko announced that they will be releasing a new collaborative project titled “TWENTY88” on Friday, April 1. This isn’t the first time the two have joined forces though. Aiko has appeared on the chorus of Sean’s 2013 single “Beware”, they have also collaborated on “I Know” off of Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise album.
The cover of the joint album features Aiko donned in an bright orange wig with her face placed on Sean’s shoulder, while Sean appears to have an intense look on his well tapered face. Both artists have posted the cover on their Instagram accounts, as well as two 15 second video teasers that are sure to blow your mind. Details are scarce, but production will be coming from Tommy Brown, Key Wane and Detail. You can stay up to date on the duo’s project via their new joint Instagram page @TWENTY88.
Sean and Aiko are scheduled to make their first public appearance together on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday where they are set to perform.
