Earlier this week, a Cook County judge ordered Chief Keef and his booking agent Yung Fly Entertainment to cough up $82K after the Chicago rapper skipped a planned show at Auburn University in Alabama last year. Keef was scheduled to perform on April 25 at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, but failed to show up.

The show was booked by an Atlanta-based promoter, The Booking Collective, LLC, who agreed to pay Keef and his team $22,000 for the gig. As part of the agreement, the promoter stated that Keef received a $12,000 deposit upfront and would receive the remaining $10,000 upon arriving to the show. All in all, the promoter spent $5,365.37 preparing for the concert.

In addition to that, Sosa rider’s list was over the top and demanded 10 bottles of chilled water, one bottle of pineapple juice, orange juice and cranberry juice, four Red Bull energy drinks, one bottle of Remy Martin VSOP cognac, two bottles of Ciroc vodka, two bottles of Moet Rose champagne and 50 chicken wings with fingers and french fries. He also asked for round-trip, nonstop coach flights and five-star accommodations for himself and six members of his entourage.

Ultimately, The Booking Collective sued Keef and his Chicago booking agent in August for more than $75,000 for damages and breach of contract. The promoter’s lawyer, Malcolm Jenkins, stated, “We felt it was malicious, it was deliberate, basically a slap in our client’s face.” Jenkins also stated that the case was settled, however, he did not discuss the terms of the agreement.

Keef has already been sued several times for missed appearances.
