50 Cent is somewhere rejoicing right now. The 40 year old rapper and entrepreneur can finally rest his head after a long and very public battle in bankruptcy court. On Wednesday, in a Hartford federal court, 50 reportedly reached an agreement with his creditors that could potentially ease his monetary woes.

If bankruptcy Judge Ann Nevins approves the deal, Fif will only be required to pay his biggest creditors 74 percent of what he owes them. That will include Sleek Audio, who 50 owes more than $17 million, and Lastonia Leviston, who reached a $6 million settlement after 50 posted her private sex tape online.

The great news was announced after a two and a half hour hearing before Nevins who heard arguments on whether she should order a more detailed investigation into Fif’s finances. Nevin concluded stating, “You came to this court for help. You asked for a second chance.”
