It’s no secret that Kanye West isn’t the most decisive person when it comes to naming his albums. However, he IS certain that he will be dropping another album this summer. Via Twitter, Ye announced that he will be naming his new album, “Turbo Grafx 16”, which is a retro video game console that was released in 1987. The game was a huge success in Japan and France, but unheard of in the United States.

Late last night, the Chicago emcee hopped onto Twitter to reveal the news to his fans tweeting, “My next album is titled “Turbo Grafx 16″ as of now…. just on some super nerd vibes… one of my favorite gaming systems when I was a kid… Blazing Lazers was probably my favorite game on that console … My boy Mali that I spoke about on the song Drive Slow actually had a Neo Geo in real life bro… We actually played Spy Hunter at my mom’s house!!!” Seems as though Yeezy became inspired after taking a trip down memory lane”.

Unfortunately, Yeezy didn’t reveal any other details regarding the upcoming project. But according to his first cousin, The World Famous Tony Williams, (whose vocals are featured on West’s debut album, The College Dropout), Ye has set aside material from the “The Life Of Pablo” sessions for the new album.

The Life Of Pablo is only available for stream only via Tidal, which has angered a lot of fans, causing them to illegally download a copy of it. Hopefully, Turbo Grafx 16 will be smooth sailing.
