Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers artist Chino, born Pachino Braxton, 20, was reportedly shot in the head this morning around 10:45 a.m. in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. Chino was sitting in his car when another car pulled up next to his and opened fired. Luckily, Chino was able to escape out of the car and run to safety. Details regarding Chino’s condition are scarce, but Meek Mill has confirmed that Chino will be okay and is recovering. It is unclear at this time as to what led to the shooting.
Chino has always been a loyal member of Meek’s crew, the two originally bonded many years ago over their love of riding bikes. Chino, who is well known on the bike life scene in Baltimore, is also one of the main characters featured in Meek Mill’s Bike Life app.
Just one day before the shooting, Chino appeared to be in good spirits as he showed off a new Rolex on Instagram.
This incident is unsettling news for Meek Mill who tragically lost two signees, Dex Osama back in September, and Lil Snupe in 2013.
