The Game is currently on tour overseas, but he’s still determined to contribute to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. Today, he announced that he will be joining forces with his charity, The Robin Hood Project, and water bottle company, Avita Water to donate $1 million worth of water to the families in need. But here’s the kicker, $500,000 of the donation will come directly from The Game’s pockets!

Game admitted that he felt so moved to donate such a large amount of money because his younger sister and her children reside in Flint. In a lengthy Instagram post the “Ride Solo” emcee wrote, “So, I’m on tour & not in the US as I’d like to be to help with this water crisis in Flint, Michigan 1st hand…. #1 because my younger sister & her children live there & 2nd because I care.”

Jayceon then proceeded to call out other celebrities and challenge then to follow his lead and match his donation writing, “I seen @Madonna & @JimmyFallon’s $10,000 donations… that’s cute, but not nearly enough…. So I challenge both & anyone else in the world to match me & DONATE $1,000,000 in bottled water to Flint, Michigan & we want proof, shipping order receipts, bank wire receipts, pictures etc……….. No more pretending to give a fuck….. I donate money all the time & it comes out of my pocket & never once have I written anything off on my taxes because that’s not why I do it !!!!!!!!”

To prove how serious he was, Game posted a photo of the transaction.

Kudos to The Game for his generous donation!
