Over the past few months there have been numerous reports claiming that Rick Ross and Lira Galore had called it quits. However, neither of them ever confirmed or denied the allegation so we were all left unsure. Yesterday, Galore opened up about her relationship with the bawse, and why they decided to throw in the towel after only a few months. Unfortunately, for Galore, her past and social media are to blame for the breakup.
The 22 ex-stripper and model spoke with Global Grind revealing that Rozay was the first celebrity she’s ever been in a relationship with, as well as her first time in love. Galore stated, “This was my first time in a public relationship, so I was happy about putting it out there. But people on social media don’t like to see that type of stuff, so they dug up old stuff that didn’t matter.”
When asked about the photo of her and Meek Mill, Galore replied, “I’m not worried about the picture with Meek. It was just a picture that I posted on my Instagram. I was at work. I used to dance, and it was just a picture. I think the initial breakup was a combination of everything from people digging up tweets when I was 17 years old tweeting about different people, to the picture of Meek. Everybody just kept posting it and I felt like as a man, he just couldn’t handle it when it was just nothing. I feel like during that time apart he realized he was tripping, so we got back together.”
When the couple first broke up, Ross was spotted on his SnapChat sporting the $350,000 engagement that he had given Galore on his pinky finger. When they got back together, the ring was returned to Galore. Ultimately, the two decided to end their relationship. Galore stated, “We just decided to go our separate ways. I’m 22 and this was my first time in love, and I put it out there. I’m still in love with him, but some things don’t go as you would like them to go.”
