Only days into his Hy!£UN35 tour, Young Thug has cancelled 14 of the 34 tour dates, including a show tomorrow in Detroit. According to a statement from Atlantic Records, the “Pacifier” rapper cancelled the shows so he can focus more on finishing his Hy!£UN35 album.
Shows in Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Arizona, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and New Jersey have already been canceled. Oddly enough, appearances in Kansas City, Santa Ana, And San Diego will still take place. Reddit users are speculating that Thugger canceled the shows due to poor ticket sales being that there are so many tickets in various cities still available for purchase.
Atlantic Records released the following statement: “Regrettably, the following Young Thug Hy!£UN35 Tour has been postponed. Young Thug will use this time to focus on putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated debut album, Hy!£UN35. The postponed dates will be rescheduled to 2016 in support of the release of the Hy!£UN35 album. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
