Shortly after arriving at Los Angeles International Airport, “See You Again” rapper Wiz Khalifa was detained by 6 Customs and Border Patrol officers after he refused to stop riding his hoverboard. Khalifa posted a video onto his Instagram showing him being slammed to the ground and cuffed by several officers who can be overheard saying, “stop resisting” before Wiz reassures them stating, “I’m not resisting”.
Prior to his arrest, the 27 year old “Stayin Out All Night” rapper told the officers, “You can’t do nothing anyway. What you gonna do, put me in jail because I didn’t listen to what you say? You can’t do nothing. We can have all the conversations you want to. We can end up on TMZ, you can become as famous as you want to be.”
After being released from custody Wiz took to his Twitter to give us all some insight on the incident which he seemed to find amusing tweeting, “Haven’t been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun.” and “All because I didn’t want to ditch the technology everyone will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids.”
