Things just got ugly for 50 Cent as a Manhattan judge ordered Fif to pay a extra $2 million dollars to Rick Ross’ baby mother Lastonia Leviston for leaking her sex tape. Originally, 50 Cent was supposed to pay up $5 million, but as the case went on, 50 tried to weasle his way out of paying up. The G-Unit frontman filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, and stated his net worth was a illusion. He also made claims of car’s and jewelry that he had flashed in the past were not his, they were rented items.
The lies just started piling up and the jury could not take it and decided he was going to pay up. While in court today, the jury came to a final agreement that Fif would pay an additional $2 million for punitive damages. Leviston’s attorney Hunter Shkolnik commented on the jury’s decision to The Wrap stating, “The jury saw through the lies and punished Mr. Jackson.” He continued stating,“We are so happy for Lastonia, she deserves this.”
Was Fifty’s plans to file for bankruptcy a good idea? Maybe not. From the looks of things, it made the situation worse. Seven million is a big ticket to pay, now let’s see if he can keep up with the bill.
