The ongoing petty beef between Birdman, Young Thug, and Lil Wayne is more serious than we all thought. According to Atlanta reporter Mike Petchenik, of WSBTV new station, Birdman and Young Thug were named in an indictment alleging that a tour bus shooting aimed at Weezy back in April was actually a murder plot.
In the court documents, authorities claim Birdman and Young Thug conspired to kill Lil Wayne. The third suspect in the case is Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, Young Thug’s close friend and former road manager. Winfrey is the suspected shooter, and is currently in police custody.
Winfrey was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity in connection with the tour bus shooting. Young Thug was arrested Wednesday for terroristic threats after he threatened to shoot a mall cop in the face in Georgia and is currently being held at DeKalb County Jail.
Birdman nor Young Thug have been arrested in connection with the incident.
