All Day rapper Kanye West celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday, and please believe that his wife went all out for it. The 34 year old model, entrepreneur, and socialite rented out the entire Staples Center in Los Angeles so Ye and his friends could shoot a few hoops in a NBA-style basketball game.
The court was decked out with real NBA referees and Lakers cheerleaders. John Salley took the role as an announcer, while 2 Chainz and James Harden acted as coaches. All Of Me singer John Legend sang the National Anthem. Other friends in attendance included Justin Bieber, Pusha T, and Tyga, as well as NBA stars Russell Westbrook and John Wall. Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, Shaquille O’Neal and Scotty Pippen all made videos wishing Yeezy a Happy Birthday.
Kris, Kylie, Khloe and her best friend Malika Haqq were also there to take part in celebrating Ye’s birthday. Khloe posted a photo of Yeezy and his friends on the court all wearing basketball jerseys labeled with “East” or “West” on them.
