Pennsylvania rapper Wiz Khalifa, 27, took to his Twitter account (@wizkhalifa) to announce Rolling Papers 2: The Weed Album. This LP is the sequel to his 2011 album Rolling Papers. The Rolling Papers album featured guest appearances from Too $hort, Curren$y, and Chevy Woods.

In 2012, Wiz stated, “The mistake I made on Rolling Papers was thinking it was time to move on from that genre not knowing that it had impacted so much people. The album did great numbers, but creatively it wasn’t my best work.” As of now, there is no official release date. Details are scarce regarding the album, but the album title has already revealed what much of the album will focus on.

In the meantime, Wiz is working on a collaborative mixtape with Curren$y titled #2009. The Taylor Gang lyricist will also be heading out on tour for “The Boys Of Zummer” tour with Fall Out Boys and Hoodie Allen kicking off June 10th.

I’m definitely excited about Wiz’s new work!
