More than 50 concertgoers suffered alcohol poisoning at Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s concert.
More than 50 concertgoers were removed from Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s The High Road Tour at Nikon Jones Beach Amphitheater in Wantagh, New York for alcohol poisoning – many of them were underage. According to a park officer, 11 people were taken to the hospital, including an 18 year old male who fell and broke his nose.
Unidentified sources have revealed that the incident stemmed from teenagers drinking vodka out of water bottles in the restrooms and parking lot of the venue. Officers shut down the restrooms and moved the crowd inside after three intoxicated teens were taken away within twenty minutes of each other at the beginning of the night. Those teens’ parents were called. Officers also arrested four people for marijuana possession.
This incident comes less than a week after 42 people were injured at Wiz & Snoop’s concert when a railing collapsed.
