42 Dugg is back to the street sh*t and he’s not hiding.

Detroit’s newfound lyricist is pugnacious and a bully on the beat, wasting no time with unearthing his mainstream debut Young & Turnt, Vol.2 – the next installment of his Young & Turnt series initially introduced back in 2019.

A byproduct of a joint venture between Lil Baby’s 4PF collective and Yo Gotti’s CMG label, Dugg made a lasting impression on Lil Baby’s My Turn, penning a pious riddled guest-verse for their record ‘Grace‘. After rapping a hustler’s sermon, Dugg affirmed his distinctiveness in being compared to other artists with premiering the official music video for ‘Not A Rapper’ feat. Lil Baby and Yo Gotti.

Young & Turnt, Vol.2 is a fourteen-track offering that features a range of Detroit-based jargon and a melancholy rhyme scheme deriving from a life suffused with pain. Dugg apparently finds comfort in voicing agitation over synthesized production from the likes of Helluva Beats and others, boasting braggadocious bars through a pair of bust down buffs.

The road to acclaim has virtually just commenced but Dugg is slated to deliver and supersede expectations.

In laymen terms, he’s definitely on one – not to mention the fact that he’s also Young and Turnt too.
