Young Thug isn’t your typical hardcore rapper and he isn’t trying to be. Every other weeks he’s making headlines because he’s dressed in women’s apparel, or simply because he has released another track that doesn’t sound anything like your day to day track. But that’s what makes Young Thug Young Thug. Love him or hate him, you definitely know who he is.

Thugs most recent stunt is sure to grab your attention. The Atlanta native is featured in the latest issue of Dazed Magazine dressed in a number of outfits that are sure to raise a few eyebrows. Young Thug had no qualms about wearing everything from a Gucci dress to a tutu designed by Molly Goddard. Although the blonde dread-head was very comfortable wearing the outfits, that didn’t stop his sister Amina from trying to convince him that he could do without the tutu.

Check out some of the photos from the spread as well as a few excerpts from his interview below!

On how many kids he has: Thug admitted to having six children. “Oldest is seven. Then it’s four, three, three, and…” When asked if the 3 year olds were twins the rapper smiled and stated, “Nope”.

On his childhood: “Six girls and five boys. I’m the youngest boy. It was hard at times, especially where we come from. But it was amazing because a lot of people don’t have the immediate family we do. It was so much fun, you know?” Naturally, he says, his family are his biggest fans. I didn’t finish school. I did everything stupid. So when they hear metaphors and good lyrics, they think, ‘Wow. How did you know that? Why did you think like that?’ They’re kind of my biggest fans because they know me better. It can be amazing to them.”

On writing songs: “I think as I go. I can’t remember 16 bars. Unless you write it, you can’t. I just do it bar for bar. I did a song in eight minutes. I thought everybody could write songs that fast. But working with a lot of them, they don’t. Wayne and Drake, it takes them so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I think I can do a perfect song in ten minutes. I did ‘Danny Glover’ in eight minutes. ‘Stoner’ took me almost an hour.”

On his career: “I always felt like I was gonna be the man. I guess that’s why I became it. I always felt like I was gonna have money, even when I was young. If it’s something you want, you just keep going and strive for it. I always wanted this.”
