Yo Gotti signs a new artist to his label.
On Wednesday, Yo Gotti added a new artist to his Collective Music Group, MoneyBagg Yo. Gotti offered the 24 year old South Memphis rising rapper a deal that he couldn’t resist to join his roster.
In a short clip, Gotti is shown walking into Moneybagg’s studio session with a large brown paper bag filled with numerous small brown paper bags containing $200,000 in total. Gotti lays all of the money out on a counter before telling MoneyBagg that the money is in fact for him. As Gotti counts the cash, he reveals that there is actually $30,000 more than he expected.
Gotti took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, writing, “WE DON’T INVEST IN N!GGAS – WE BELIEVE IN EM #CMG IT’S A BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!!” Moneybagg later confirmed the deal, writing, “IF U THOUGH I GRINDED HARD 2 GET HERE WATCH THIS WATCH ME TURN THIS 200k to 200m’s DAM HARD WORK PAY OFF IM FOREVER GRATEFUL BIG HOMIE LETS GET IT!” and “I had haters wen I was broke now I’m rich I really got haters.”
Prior to being signed, Moneybagg dropped “Prayers” with Yo Gotti and “I Need A Plugg” with Young Dolph. He is best know for his recently released mixtapes “All Gas No Brakes” and “Strictly 4 The Traps N Trunks.”
