Wale releases a surprise EP.
Wale cut ties with Atlantic Records last month, and is now an independent artist, but that may be a good thing – because now the rapper can release music at his own disclosure.
Today, Wale surprises fans with a new EP entitled, It’s Complicated. The new project comes laced with 4 songs, and one feature from Jacquees, who appears on the song, “Black Bonnie.”
Prior to dropping It’s Complicated, Wale revealed that it’s, “A story about “a” love life. Anybody who heart is at odds with the mind.” The project seems to be aimed at his female fans – especially with song titles like “Let It Go” and “It’s Complicated” on deck.
It’s Complicated serves as the first project that Wale has released since his Shine album, which hit shelves back in April.
