It looks like Waka Flocka may have just burned his bridges forever with his label Atlantic Records. If Atlantic Records was already giving Waka a hard time regarding the release of his Flockaveli 2 album, it’s definitely a no-go now. Last month, the 29 year old Atlanta rapper expressed his dissatisfaction with Atlantic stating he hated his label because they were holding his album back, and that he was willing to buy his way out of his contract.
On Wednesday, Waka took to his Twitter account to post, “On my second single now #Noradio #NoTv No push — FUCK @AtlanticRecords holding my album up”, and “Call @AtlanticRecords 2127072000 Demand my release #FLOCKAVELI2”. In a failed attempt to help Waka, many of his fans called Atlantic, however, the label continued to either put fans on hold or hang up on them.
Only time will tell if Waka’s plan worked. In the meantime, Waka continues to release his music on his own.
