Tyga ran into a bit of legal trouble early this morning.
Early Wednesday morning, after leaving Hollywood’s Avenue Nightclub, Tyga was stopped and handcuffed by Hollywood division officers.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Tyga, born Michael Ray Stevenson, 27, was driving his custom Mercedes G-Series when he was pulled him over.
Apparently, Tyga ran a stop sign and was driving without license plates. The “Rack City” rapper spoke with several officers before being asked to exit his vehicle, he he voluntarily did. As expected, paparazzi swarmed Tyga and asked him why was he being arrested. Tyga responded, “Because I have paper plates. I just bought it.”
He was transferred to the police station due to all of the paparazzi surrounding the scene, where he was given a conduct a field sobriety test. After passing the test, he was released with a ticket for driving without a driver’s license or insurance – after spending only 90 minutes in police custody.
