Troy Ave’s pocket’s are running on E.

Back in July, Troy Ave was released from prison on $500,000 bail. The 30 year old “Major Without A Deal” rapper was arrested back in May for his involvement in the deadly shooting that took place at New York City’s Irving Plaza. Although Troy is happy to have gained his freedom back, he’s suffering a huge financial loss in the meantime.

On Friday, Troy’s lawyer, John Stella, broke down his current financial state to DNA Info, “He’s barely able to get by. Touring is what drives everything else, and it’s hard to release music if he can’t promote it with live performances.”

Due to Troy’s bail restrictions, he’s had to cancel a slew of tour dates, and has lost out on tens of thousands of dollars. Troy typically makes between $6,000 and $10,000 for a performance. Stella added, “Just like Rick Ross, Troy should be given the ability to work and provide for his family.”

The condition’s of Troy’s bail require him to obey an 11 p.m. curfew, stay out of bars, nightclubs, and other venues, as well as remain within the five boroughs. Unfortunately, a number of venues have already paid Troy in advance, and may possibly sue him for breach of contract. Stella stated, “I think they’re waiting to see what happens in the short term to see if he regains the ability to perform.”

Troy is due back in court on November 4.
