New disturbing details connected to the shooting that took place at New York’s Irving Plaza have surfaced. It appears that Troy Ave, born Roland Collins, has become the primary suspect in the case. The NYPD has released clear footage showing Troy barge into a VIP green room backstage before opening fire.

While recovering at NYU Langone Medical Center from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound to leg, Troy was taken into custody. He has been charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment, and illegal possession of a firearm. Troy is expected to face a murder charge once the results of the ballistics test have been concluded.

In total, four people were injured at Irving Plaza, including Troy Ave. Two victims sustained injuries that they are expected to recover from, however, there was one fatality. A member of Troy Ave’s BSB crew, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter was shot in the stomach and pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital. At this time, the motive of the shooting is unclear.
