Trippie Redd & Young Thug Experience Drug Induced Paranoia In New Claymation Video ‘YELL OH’

Trippie Redd details the music video for his single ‘YELL OH’ featuring Young Thug.

The Pi’erre Bourne produced track is featured on Big 14’s Billboard-charted ALLTY4 (A Love Letter to You 4) effort, which debuted at No.1 back in November of last year. With having his international tour cut short in light of COVID-19, Trippie joined the pool of other artists forced to rely on innovation and other means of engagement to appease their unwavering supporters – and he hasn’t disappointed.

‘YELL OH’, a Clocked Inc. production, is directed by William Child, one of the industry’s most celebrated claymation animators. The cinematic-esque piece is an action packed depiction of what ‘various nightmares result from the illicit use of drugs’, as mentioned in the visual’s disclaimer notice.

In a world where many unprecedented deaths have been directly attributed to drug usage, it’s refreshing to witness a creative stance taken on swaying the court of opinion in terms of just saying ‘no’.

All things considered, the video is a waggish approach on combating addiction, capturing the essence of what a drug induced excursion might reveal along the way. It’s both compelling and entertaining with regard to what digital finesse is required in completing a project of this stature, so kudos to all parties involved – one hell of a job well done.

Trippie hasn’t shown any indications of a forthcoming project to follow up ALLTY4, but knowing the sporadic nature behind his artistic expression, I wouldn’t be surprised if something is in the works currently.
