Trippie Redd Releases New Single “Death” Feat. DaBaby & Announces 2020 Tour

Multi-platinum recording artist Trippie Redd releases new single “Death” featuring charting music aficionado DaBaby.

“Death” alongside “Love Me More” will both feature on Redd’s highly-anticipated album A Love Letter To You 4 set to release on all DSP’s later this month.

This single is encompassed with Redd’s ominous lyricism that alludes to a palpable sense of death as a result of conflict resolution. A menacing chorus plagued with preliminary “You gon’ die” squalls of defiance that reiterate the expressive malevolent inclination against the opposition at hand, in alliance with DaBaby’s insouciant demeanor, channel the appropriate “f*ck you” persona conveyed on this Three 6 Mafia-esque production.

Trippie Redd continues to shy away from the conventional by embracing the affliction that derives from lovelorn melodies and a peculiar wave of resentment for compassion. With 2019 wrapping up, I’m excited to see what corresponding visuals are in play for this promising talent. If it’s anything like the recent cinematic illustrations of grandeur released earlier this year by Big 14, it’ll only further solidify his position as a force amongst the industries new wave of lyrical wunderkinds.
