Travis Scott Sues Exotic Car Rental Company Over Alleged Extortion

Travis Scott is suing Super Cars of Miami for reportedly trying to blackmail him.

In the midst of putting the finishing touches on his Astroworld album, Travis Scott finds himself filing a lawsuit. Apparently, the “Goosebumps” singer is suing Super Cars of Miami after they reportedly tried to extort $100,000 from him following an accident that took place in 2012.

Curt documents exclusively obtained by The Daily Mail reveal that Scott rented and crashed a Lamborghini Aventador from Super Cars of Miami. Scott covered the bill for the damages, which totaled $90,725.45. The payment served as part of a confidential agreement that guaranteed that the company would remain completely silent about the accident.

However, a few weeks later, the company requested an additional $100,000 from Scott, threatening to tell the tabloids about the accident if he refused to pay up.

Shockingly enough, there is no police report on file going into detail about the accident. It has yet to even be proven that Scott was behind the wheel when the accident occurred. The only thing that is known, is that the Lamborghini hit a Toyota on December 31st at 4:45 p.m.  in South Florida.

Scott’s suit claims Super Cars threatened “to violate the terms of the confidentiality provision contained in the settlement agreement by making specious and salacious claims to news agencies and tabloids regarding the accident.”

Super Cars is now countersuing Scott, claiming negligence on Scott’s part and breach of contract.
