When your money is as long as Drake’s, you can have whatever you want in life. But the 29 year old “One Dance” singer’s most recent purchase has ruffled a few feathers. Drizzy reportedly has a new mansion being built in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.
Drizzy purchased the 21,000 square foot Italian style villa for $6 million, and has recruited architect Ferris Rafauli (who has worked for him before) to help design the home.The custom built home will feature a massive basketball court, swimming pool, theater room, hot tub on the roof, custom-made bar and even a museum to display his memorabilia.
The new home is being built in the upscale neighborhood of Bridle Path, where many other businessman and musicians reside. However, none of Drake’s future neighbors have issued any complaints about his larger than life home. Toronto’s city council felt it was necessary to hold a meeting to discuss minor construction exemptions and how almost everything about Drizzy’s home is larger than city codes allow. A hearing is scheduled to take place on May 26.
