Toosii Unpacks Detailed Remembrance Of The Past With New ‘5 Stars’ Release

Toosii - 5 Star

No, this isn’t GTA, but Toosii’s youngin’ has 5 Star’s.

South Coast Music Group’s trigger-happy crooner pens gruff undertone over a collaborative production effort by Prodbyeighty8, GVNGBOY10 and KookUp.

‘5 Stars’ is a Michael Burroughs (20K Visuals) and Drew Carroll directed visual that finds Toosii at his most introverted state.

The buzzing Carolina artist recollects a problematic past that highlights two of life’s toughest lessons, heartbreak and disloyalty. With a crafty reference to the action-packed video game series GTA (Grand Theft Auto), Toosii has managed to find the balance between embracing a newfound livelihood while concurrently dealing with former opps and naysayers.

Maneuvering about through the Tar Heel State’s capital (Raleigh, NC) in a sprinter van, equipped with extended clips – and no, I’m not referring to deleted scenes or bloopers – Toosii turns a smoke-filled cruise around the city into a virtual live production on wheels.

Earlier this year, the Big Steppa released his debut studio LP Platinum Heart – a featureless thirteen-track effort. The album includes his breakout hit single ‘Red Lights’, which currently boast 5M views via YouTube. Championed by his signature melodic flow and passive-aggressive nature, 2020 stands to be a significant year for the 19-year-old wunderkind.
