Birdman urges Toni Braxton to set a wedding date.
Back in April, Toni Braxton announced that she and Birdman got engaged in September of last year, and would soon be tying the knot. Up until now, fans haven’t heard much about the couples wedding plans, but according to Braxton, Birdman is ready to move forward and finally set a wedding date.
During a recent interview on the Wendy Williams Show, Braxton revealed that Birdman is pressuring her to finally set a wedding date, “We almost had a date, well we had two dates, but we were doing Braxton Family Values.”
“And we were going through a little drama, and I was like, ‘Okay the wedding is a good thing to get all of us sisters together,’ but I couldn’t get us all together. I said the wedding is not a good reason because it’s messing up my relationship a little bit.”
“He was like come on Michelle set a date.” Braxton then proceeded to tell the audience that Birdman doesn’t call her by her first name, and that Michelle is her middle name. “He said before the year is out, so I have a couple weeks.”
Toni will kick off her As Long As I Live tour in 2019, with SWV serving as special guests. The first show will take place on January 19, in Columbia, South Carolina. The tour will wrap up on March 3 at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater.
