The Dream has decided to venture into new things! After not releasing an album last year, the singer has been keeping quite busy for 2015. He has already released his Crown EP, and is set to release a follow up album called Jewel this summer. He recently revealed that he is teaming up with Jay-Z to form a new art label named Contra Paris.
In a interview with XXL Magazine, The Dream stated “Yeah, we’re building Contra Paris, which is an art label. It’s about art overall, period. Anything that’s art, we’re trying to get into. I have a lot of people hitting me on Instagram, guys and girls, that are trying to fuse music with their culture. Whatever that culture is, as long as it’s art.”
The Shawty Is A 10 singer didn’t specify whether he and Jay-Z would be releasing any new music, but he did mention that they hit the studio together often. Let’s hope for a new hit from them soon!
