Tekashi 6ix9ine’s album hits a bump in the road.

Originally slated to be released this Friday, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy album has now been postponed until further notice. Nicki Minaj confirmed the shocking news via Instagram with the following message:

“For reasons beyond music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now. Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your Mother, daughter & her Mom during this time. 🙏🏾♥️” The delay comes after 6ix9ine’s recent arrest for racketeering.

The new album consists of 13 tracks, and includes the songs “Stoopid” with Bobby Shmurda, “FEFE” with Nicki Minaj, and “TATI” with DJ Spin King. Other guest appearances include Lil Baby, Tory Lanez, Trife Drew, and more.

Earlier this week, 6ix9ine was arrested on racketeering and firearms charges. He is currently being held in general population at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. 6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, argues that his client is merely an “entertainer who portrays a ‘gangster image'” to promote music.

Despite offering his entire bank balance to the court as leverage, his bail has still been denied.

It’s unclear as to when the album will arrive.
