Things have been pretty rough for Taylor Swift and Kanye West every since he interrupted her acceptance speech for best female video at the 2009 VMA’s. The two stars have gone back and forth with each other over the past couple of years, but Swift wants everyone to know that she has buried the hatchet and is completely uninterested in continuing any beef with Yeezus.

In a new interview with Vogue, Taylor stated, “I think the world is bored with that saga. I don’t want to add anything to it. I guess what I wanted to call attention to in my speech at the Grammys was how it’s going to be difficult if you’re a woman who wants to achieve something in her life — no matter what.”

Back in February, during his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Kanye debuted a new track, “Famous”, where he rapped, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous”.

Although Swift isn’t one to be messy, during her Grammys acceptance speech for “Album of the Year” she addressed the controversial lyrics stating, “I want to thank the fans for the last ten years and the Recording Academy for giving us this unbelievable honor. I want to thank all of my collaborators that you see on this stage. Mostly, I want to thank my co–executive producer, Max Martin, who has deserved to be up here for 25 years.

And as the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, take credit for your accomplishments, or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, some day when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.”

On Sunday, while performing in Manila, Philippines in support of “TLOP”, Kanye told his fans that “Famous” helped end his writer’s block “cause it’s something I wanted to say so bad that they told me I couldn’t say.”
