Milwaukee’s own rock solid emcee Taiyamo Denku teams up with the front man of Griselda Records, Conway The Machine, for the torrid single “Be Who You Are.”
With Conway on the record it only makes sense to incorporate unrefined beats built for a boss mixed with boom bap paragons. Both Denku and Conway come prepared with hard and gritty bars to school underdogs and relay a message of vitality.
They do so in such a simple yet hypnotic way. With bars striking home to everyone, whether you are sleeping in your mama’s basement or the pavement, or riding on the boulevard on a bike or in a fancy car; be who you are.
