“I am so excited about the release of Phone Down. This track means a lot to me, it was the song that got me my record deal and to have Baby on it is amazing. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!” – Stefflon Don

This new video finds Stefflon parading vigilantly through a small town while she makes a daring attempt to avoid local authorities alongside her presumed significant other.

As referenced in the chorus, “Put your phone down, down, down/Bay look at me when I’m with you…/Put your phone down, down, down/Baby you can do that later“, there’s a conscious effort to detach from the hindrance that derives from using your phone, with regard to disrupting bonding.

Lil Baby followed up with a suggestive set of lyrics that reemphasize how distracting cell phone usage can be, especially when you’re an artist constantly managing your schedule and the unforeseen troubles that follow stardom.

In being attributed as the first ever British female on XXL’s annual ‘Freshman Class’ , the range of forthcoming success for Stefflon bars no limitation.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for the multi-talented virtuoso.
