Smoove’L makes his Interscope Records debut with new mixtape Boy From Brooklyn.

Heralded as one of Brooklyn’s promising acts on the rise, the Bed-Stuy prodigy sets the standard with his latest release.

In terms of digital prowess, the 19-year-old wordsmith is the furthest thing from novice. With releasing a bevy of records that have since become fan favorites (New Apollos, Palm Angels, Just A Dream) – Smoove’L has managed to court listeners with a melodic assortment of speed-fueled bars.

Boy From Brooklyn is a featureless eleven track effort that serves as a formal introduction to the rising MC’s New York frame of mind. From the booth to your favorite streaming device, Smoove’L’s compelling rhyme scheme offers perspective into the intrinsic nature of his unique existence.

“People think you have to be famous in order to be an artist, but you don’t”, voiced Smoove’L. “No matter if you got a fanbase or no followers, you just gotta keep your image and go with the flow. Eventually people will believe in you one day”, he continued.

Musically, he is easily branded as one of the newfound purveyors of sound coming out of the celebrated borough.

Championed by a number of noteworthy mentions, with regard to his since-viral catalog of records, Smoove’L is leading a new wave of sound for the next generation of wunderkinds in music. Moreover, his distinctive aptitude for controlling the narrative with a hustler’s rhetoric and trap-assisted prose is a further testament to the XXL Freshman contender’s oppressively constant work ethic.

As of late, the music industry as a whole has succumbed to the pressures of social media-charged campaigns in hopes of swaying more supporters. Smoove’L on the other hand relies on his witty lyricism to spearhead his claim to fame.
