Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill seem head over heels in love with each other these days. I ain’t mad at them, it’s always nice to see a black couple in love and just enjoying life together. But all good things come to an end. As much as we are all infatuated with Omeeka and wish them the best, I can name one person in particular who is bitter about the entire situation.. Nic’s ex-boyfriend of 12 years, Safaree Samuels.
After taking the high road and keeping his mouth shut for months after his and Nicki’s public breakup, an angry Safaree has decided to come for Nicki and air a load of dirty laundry. Safaree is set to release the new track titled “Love The Most” at the end of this week.
Safaree is bothered by a number of things including Nicki refusing to have his baby, her kissing Nas for her video shoot, her keen eye for Meek Mill during their relationship, and her alleged pill popping habit. In the lyrics Safaree raps “Ain’t saying I’m the best, no one will love you like I did/ 12 years up in flames, thought you would’ve had my kid/ Year three, got engaged, now we moving out of rage/ I ain’t never think our book would’ve ended on this page.”
He continued rapping, “Had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it’s all cool/ Inside I was feeling like a mothaf—ing fool / Life revolved around the beat, show me a man that won’t / Said I was overreacting, but you did like … / Yeah, I know I’m not perfect, you was paying all the bills / You remember what you told me when you wasn’t on them pills?”
Does Safaree sound bitter, or was Nicki wrong for jumping right into a relationship with Meek Mill?
