Barbadian beauty Rihanna was named creative director of the athletic clothing brand last year. It wasn’t until today that the Bitch Better Have My Money singer appeared in her first official advertisement for Puma. Rih is shown baring her midriff all while decked out in Puma Pulse XT sneakers for women. This is a step in a different direction for the songstress who is known for her sexy and revealing outfits that are usually paired with sky high pumps.
The photo first hit social media when Puma unveiled it via Instagram. Under the photo was a caption reading, “An icon who does it all needs a shoe that can keep up. Introducing the Pulse XT, worn by @badgalriri. #ForeverFaster.” Puma is making an attempt to come out on top with the rest of the other names in business such as Adidas and Nike.
Meanwhile, we are all patiently waiting for R8 to hit shelves.
