Rick Ross was more ill than his team let on.
Last week, Rick Ross was rushed to the hospital after one of his male friends at his Miami residence found him unresponsive. It was reported that Ross was being treated for pneumonia, however, it was later revealed that Ross was in the ICU, where he was reportedly placed on ECMO, which assists respiratory and heart functions.
TMZ has since obtained the audio of the frightening 911 call. One of Ross’ associates can be heard frantically speaking to a 99 operator while trying wake Ross up.
Apparently, Renzel was breathing heavy, had vomited on himself, and although he had taken medications earlier in the day – he still needed medical assistance. The caller also noted that the “Diced Pineapples” rapper had a history of seizures.
Renzel spent a total of four days in the hospital, although, his diagnosis remains unclear. At one point, a number of outlets claimed that Ross had been placed on life support, but Fat Trel quickly cleared the rumor up via Instagram – revealing that he had spoken to Rozay.
Ross has since been discharged from the hospital and is at home on the mend.
