Raven Sorvino a rapper from Richmond, Texas and Sand One an artist of of LA talk of the influence of art in Hip-Hop and it must be respected. It is a fact that Hip-Hop was heavily influenced by art by the likes of Basquiat and other famous artists and graffitists! Marc Ecko heavily influenced the culture with his graffiti art and also Hip-Hop legend KRS-One for example.
Sand One describes how her character “Stacks” represent feminism. She best depicts it as “When you see a woman that looks cute, you underestimate her.” Then you talk to her, and it’s like, “Oh gosh, she has a strong presence! She has a very strong personality.”
